GeoSea sea baths - Natural hot spring in Iceland
We are excited to present the GeoSea sea baths. Visiting the sea baths is a great experience for body and soul. If you are traveling in the north Iceland, you should pay GeoSea a visit.
The hot spring, filled with seawater, enables you to enjoy nature in a truly unique manner. Thanks to the underground heat, the mineral-rich seawater in the baths is warm, comfortable and will nurture your skin. You can enjoy the view of beautiful and colorful mountains while the warm sea works its miracles to your skin and soul. From the baths you will also have a great view over Skjálfandi flói bay and the Arctic Circle itself on the horizon.
The hot spring GeoSea in Husavik is very good for those suffering from skin conditions. People with conditions such as psoriasis have found relief by bathing in the water. The water has an optimal temperature of 38°- 39°C (100° – 103°F), so it is very nice both summer and winter.
The water in the GeoSea sea baths comes from two boreholes. There is no need to use any cleaning agents or equipment, as the steady flow of water from the boreholes to the pools and over their edges, into the sea, ensures that the water stays within the limits stipulated by health regulations.
