This helicopter tour in Iceland truly shows the untamed power that has shaped Iceland's wild but beautiful landscape.

Get a glimpse of the raw but magical beauty that Iceland's volcanic landscape is known for. When you take off in a helicopter over the lunar landscape of the Reykjanes peninsula, you will really be able to appreciate its grandeur - which is only possible from the air. You will be able to see countless craters, the mighty waves from the sea that wash in over the coast, the geothermal Seltún area, the Blue Lagoon, Kleifarvatn lake and finally Grænavatn lake.

Of course, no trip is complete without a landing and time to explore… On this trip we stop at Eldvörp on the southwest side of the Reykjanes peninsula. Eldvörp is a 10 km long crater that contains extensive geothermal activity, so you will always be able to see fumes rising from the ground. This combination of bumpy shoreline and rising fumes will make it seem like you have landed on a completely different planet!

The trip truly shows the untamed power that has shaped the island's wild but beautiful landscape.

Attractions: Seltún Geothermal Area, Blue Lagoon, Lake Kleifarvatn, Lake Grænavatn, Eldvörp Crater.

  • The total duration of the trip is 65-80 minutes.
  • 35-55 minutes guided helicopter ride and a 15-minute landing at a crater.
  • Depending on helicopter type and weather conditions.
