Rib Safari Westman Islands

During the trip we will see a lot of wild animals including seabirds such as Mallemuk, Rider, Gannets and Puffins. We may also be lucky enough to see whales and seals during our trip.

On our two-hour sailing trip on a RIB Speedboat off the Westman Islands, we will start by visiting the small islands closest to our largest island, Heimaey. Then we go further out and visit the other islands that are included in our archipelago. In good sea conditions we might even sail to Súlnasker, which is known to be the most magnificent island in the Westman Islands. You will see the elephant cliff, a lot of wildlife, nature, islands and sea caves.

We will see lots of wildlife during our trip and probably also some seals and maybe even some whales. We will see a lot of seabirds such as gannets, puffins, mallards, riders, etc.

During the trip we make stops to tell you about the history of the islands, our traditions here, folk stories and inform you about our nature.
